Location: Bylot Island, Nunavut, Canada
Surface drainage and medial moraines

This photograph is thought to be a view southeast along the northwest/southeast-trending tongue of glacier C93.The two dark debris piles and the linear feature connecting them are shown in detail in image 0016. This view shows the complex nature of the surface drainage; the configuration of the sheared contact between adjacent, coalescing glaciers; and a typical expression of a medial moraine. The photograph was taken from an altitude of approximately 500 meters.
