Surface appearance of the thrust ridge shown in cross-section in image 0042, Aktineq Glacier (B17). Stream cutting through the ridge just beyond its edge in the foreground is the site of image 0042. Note the small sediment cones to the right of the ridge: these may be the surface expressions of vertical conduits such as those shown in images 0030, 0032, and 0040.
