Cirque and valley glaciers, Northern Baffin Island, from the window of a commercial airliner flying south from Pond Inlet at an altitude of about 3,000 m. Note the equilibrium line dividing the gray ablation zone and the blue-white accumulation zone. The white color at the top of the peak is from a recent snowfall. See image 0007.
